Anthony's Blog #2

So, it’s only Monday, but it already seems like it’s going to be a rough week. A piece of equipment that I checked out from Newhouse got damaged, so I’m going to have to pay them back for it. It’s only a small piece of plastic (and it’s not even my fault as to why it’s damaged) but I’m sure they’re still going to charge me an arm and a leg for it. My TRF group started filming for our final project, and we shot two scenes throughout the weekend, but we’re going to need a lot more in order to get a decent rough cut before Thanksgiving break. I also have my second essay due on Friday for my geography class, and I’m not even sure what I want my topic to be.

As for extracurricular activities, things are going smoothly with La L.U.C.H.A. Over the weekend, we held a bonding event for our general body members at an Orange After Dark event: glow-in-the-dark ice-skating in the ice skating pavilion on South Campus. There’s not a lot of ice where I come from, but I tried my best! We’re (LUCHA) going to be doing a few events throughout November, and start getting ready for the spring semester. As the education/resource chair, I’ll be releasing the monthly newsletter sometime this week. It seems like a lot to do with so little time! But, as I said in my previous vlog, time management in key! It’s crunch time here in SU.
